Rudi Klein’s temporary work, which was displayed in the hallway of the former BIG headquarters in Vienna’s third district between 2015 and 2017, consisted of a series of wall drawings in the artist’s typical reduced colour palette.
As the artist explains, “it is an attempt to give the very long, winding corridor traction towards the conference room located at the end, while at the same time telling a story”. The humorous story’s motif, the “house”, plays with the work BIG does and is a picture story without words that leaves space for the imagination. A comic book complements the project and reveals the story behind the picture.
