Sofie Thorsen designed an artistic intervention for the outdoor area of the secondary school BRG Kremszeile. Her Ballspielwände (Ball-Playing Walls) allow students to play freely without predefined rules and regulations and provides a setting where they can spend their breaks. The five free-standing concrete walls feature bright colours, holes and monochromatic metal elements, and draw inspiration from the historical playground sculptures of the post-war era.
